🎮 Video Bingo Game

Concept Overview

Video Bingo is an interactive game that blends entertainment with exploration. Inspired by the traditional bingo gameplay, this version introduces short video content into the experience.

Users select a video platform (e.g., TikTok or YouTube) and a set of keyword tags. While watching videos, they mark the corresponding bingo square when spotting a matching keyword and completing a whole row, column, or diagonal wins the game.

It’s not just a game — it’s a playful journey through the world of video content and cultural discovery.

Design Process & Tools

This project was fully built in Figma and included:

Challenges & Growth

One of the biggest challenges is constructing the UI, such as achieving a more comfortable animation. Here, I used fade-in and fade-out to add a more fluid experience. Other challenges include optimizing the click target, hierarchy, and contrast so that users can interact quickly without causing a visual burden.

Most importantly, I learned to gather and apply feedback. I improved unclear upload logic, button visibility, and night mode comfort through peer testing, turning vague confusion into confident usability.

What I Learned

Gamification isn’t just about making things fun, it’s about creating an engaging loop of anticipation, interaction, and reward. Through this project, I deepened my visual design and UX thinking skills and learned how to create momentum and delight in even the smallest details.

This project taught me that even a small prototype can carry a significant impact when built with care and iteration.
